Configuring the Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP)

Example PPP configurations

The following sections describe common PPP configurations:

If you want to configure outgoing PPP connections to an Internet Service Provider or to an Intranet remote access server, you can use the PPP Outgoing Connection Wizard. To handle incoming PPP connections, the PPP Incoming Connection Wizard allows you to set up a system as a remote access server. You can start both of these wizards from the PPP Manager. You can also use this manager to fine tune the configuration of PPP at a later stage.
