Configuring outgoing PPP connections

The PPP Outgoing Connection Wizard interface

You can use the PPP Outgoing Connection Wizard to define outgoing PPP links.

NOTE: You must have already configured the communications device(s) that you intend to use for PPP. Suitable devices are modems and ISDN adapters. See ``The Modem Manager'' and ``Adding ISDN devices'' for more information on how to configure your system for such devices.

To define the configuration of a new outgoing connection using the PPP Outgoing Connection Wizard, select Software -> Configure PPP to start the PPP Manager, select View -> Bundles, select Wizard -> Add, then select Outgoing -- Internet/Intranet, and click on Start.

To modify an existing outgoing configuration using the PPP Outgoing Connection Wizard, select Software -> Configure PPP to start the PPP Manager, select View -> Bundles, select the outgoing bundle to be modified, then select Wizard -> Modify, then select Outgoing -- Internet/Intranet, and click on Start.
