To reconfigure the system base kernel, execute:
idbuild
This reconfigures all loadable modules into the /etc/conf/modnew.d directory. This directory will be changed to /etc/conf/mod.d at the next system reboot. This method requires a system reboot before the modules are made available for dynamic loading. See idbuild(1M).
