Managing dynamically loadable kernel modules

Configuring one DLKM

To configure a specific loadable kernel module module-name, and put it into the /etc/conf/mod.d directory:

idbuild -M module-name

The -M option makes the necessary nodes in the /dev directory, adds and activates /etc/inittab entries if any Init file is associated with the modules, and registers the modules to the running kernel. See idbuild(1M).
