Contents of the DMI 2.0 samples directory
The /usr/src/dmi/samples directory contains:

Component Instrumentation (CI) samples
-
Management Application (MA) samples
The samples demonstrate basic DMI component and management
application functionality. All the samples
are supplied ready-built; for information on rebuilding samples using the
supplied makefiles, see
``Rebuilding samples''.
NOTE:
As with all other components, the CI samples must be run as
root. The MI samples are management applications and can be
run by any user.
