Component instrumentation (CI) samples

These are available in the following subdirectories of /usr/src/dmi/samples/CI_support:

hellodmi

A very simple DMI component that demonstrates how to register a component with the DMI SP. It supports one instrumented attribute.

phonebook

A more complex DMI component that simulates a company telephone directory. Entries, organized as rows of a DMI attribute table, can be added and deleted. For a real component this information would be provided by or sent to the hardware or software being managed.

event2

This component generates DMI indications as defined in the phonebook component's MIF.
