The IMS system comes supplied with a number of industry standard
MIB files. Each of these contains a pre-defined database structure
for a specific network management environment. The following hierarchy of
MIBs is pre-supplied:
A MIB loading facility (see
``Selecting and loading MIBs'')
allows you to select any of these definition files as well as adding and
selecting any further, vendor-defined, MIBs supplied with
specific networking hardware.
