Configuring incoming call services

Call service lookup

If the caller has authorization, then the service to invoke is determined from the /etc/ics/Callservices file (see Callservices(4bnu)). This file is used to determine the service to invoke by matching all or any of the following: the telephone number that was called (the called ID), the call type and the device. For example, if the called ID and the device are not specified, then the service to invoke will be the first one in the Callservices file that matches the call type.

NOTE: Call service lookup is enabled by specifying the -s auto option of ttyadm(1M) when configuring ttymon(1M).
