Adding a call service
To add a call service using the
Dialin Services Manager:
Enter the following information:
Select the service type from the list:
data over a modem
synchronous data over ISDN
asynchronous data over ISDN
fax over a modem
fax over ISDN
voice over ISDN
video over ISDN
Refer to the
manual page for further information.
There is currently no support in UnixWare for services dealing with
fax over a modem,
fax over ISDN, voice over ISDN and
video over ISDN.
The service will be set to NULL in these cases.
Select the serial port device from the list of configured
The service can be run on any port.
nn can be ``00'', ``01'', ``02''
or ``03'' denoting COM ports 1 to 4.

The PPP login shell, /bin/pppsh (see

The shell server, /bin/shserv (see
invokes this server which determines the shell to invoke for
the logged in user by consulting the /etc/passwd
You can change the information in the following fields:
Select Any phone to specify any telephone number.
Select Specify phone to enter a list of
Enter a telephone number which will accept the incoming call.
Click Add to add it to the list of numbers,
displayed in the box below.
Select one of these numbers and click on Delete
to delete the number from the list.
