Changing privileges on an existing file

Changing the privileges on an existing file is much like installing a new program requiring privileges. As in the previous example, use filepriv with the -f option to define the fixed privileges. Because filepriv removes all privileges previously associated with a file when it is invoked with the -f option, the previous privileges are removed and the specified privileges are installed.
