Administering the listen port monitor

Removing a listen port monitor

To remove a listen port monitor, use the following command:

sacadm -r -p pmtag

For example, the command sacadm -r -p tcp causes the SAC daemon to remove the line for port monitor ``tcp'' from its administrative file. The port monitor directory will remain in /etc/saf but will be removed and recreated when a new port monitor with the same name is added.

NOTE: To make changes to a port monitor entry, always remove the entry and add a new entry using the sacadm command. Do not edit the SAC administrative file.
