Commands, shells and shell scripts
Though most system management tasks must be performed in
UNIX mode using SCOadmin or applicable commands,
you can work with shell scripts, some administrative
commands, and most user-level commands in Linux mode.
The shell that is executed when you change to Linux mode is the
closest available Linux equivalent to the default UNIX shell
defined for a user.
