Configuring Plug and Play devices

The PnP Configuration Manager interface

After you install the appropriate PnP adapter(s), log in as root and start the PnP Configuration Manager in one of these ways:

When you start the PnP Configuration Manager, the window displays the adapters currently detected on your system. Detected adapters are shown in the top point-and-pick list, and devices available for use with that adapter are shown in the bottom point-and-pick list. The names of these adapters and devices are generated from the adapters themselves.

For more information on using SCOadmin managers, see ``Administering your system with SCOadmin''.

NOTE: If you attempt to start the PnP Configuration Manager and no adapters are found on your system, an error message appears. See No ISA PnP adapters detected for more information.
