Configuring LAN connections

The Network Configuration Manager interface

Use the Network Configuration Manager to configure network hardware, configure network protocols, and remove a network configuration.

Start the Network Configuration Manager in either of these ways:


NOTE: You must have root or system owner privileges to use the Network Configuration Manager; see ``System security''.

The Network Configuration Manager starts by default displaying LAN configuration information. Use the View menu to change between LAN and WAN views.
