SVR5 MDI driver installation
All SVR5 MDI drivers are
dynamically loaded kernel modules,
so it is easy to add counters and
lines while debugging.
The procedure for doing this for a driver
that has already been configured into the kernel is:
Modify the driver source code.
Rebuild the driver.
Move your Driver.o file to the
Make any necessary modifications to the
Driver Software Package
Issue the following command sequence:
modadmin -U driver
/etc/conf/bin/idbuild -M <driver>
ndcfg -f <name>.bcfg
will notice if you attempt to use a driver on SVR5
that has not been configured with ndcfg.
