Guidelines for all kernel drivers
These guidelines are suggestions
to improve the robustness, performance,
and maintainability of a driver.
We strongly recommend that drivers to be run
on SCO systems adhere to these guidelines.
Some of these guidelines include pointers
to other portions of the documentation
that contain more detailed information.
These guidelines pertain to both
DDI drivers written for SVR5
and ODDI drivers written for SCO OpenServer 5
unless the text specifies that it applies
to only one platform.
