Performing basic system monitoring and tuning

Using the System Time Manager

You can set or change the system clock with the System Time Manager, accessible from the System folder of the scoadmin(1M) launcher, or by entering scoadmin system time on the command line.

To set the time, select Host -> Set Time. Enter numbers manually (or use the up and down buttons in the graphical version) to set the time and date entries. Note that hours are expressed in 24-hour format, in which morning hours range from 00 to 11 and evening hours from 12 to 23. You can select only years up to ``2037'' in the System Time Manager.

NOTE: If the host you are trying to change is set up as a Network Time Protocol (NTP) client, you must set the time on the master time server. See ``Configuring Network Time Protocol (NTP) service'' for more information.

To change your time zone, see ``Changing the system time zone''.
